Job Descriptions

Seasonal Job, March – October. We are hiring full-time vegetable field crew members for 40+ hours per week. This position will have primary duties of field work which includes planting, weeding, harvesting and assisting with any other necessary farm task. The ideal candidate should have the ability to work at an effective pace, accept and integrate instructions and feedback, and take a proactive role in asking for guidance when it comes to farm practices. This is a highly demanding position during peak season and requires speed, focus, physical strength and stamina on long days in any weather conditions. This job requires a do whatever it takes attitude and a person who can contribute positively to the general work environment. A good candidate for this position must be flexible, pay attention to detail, work well with others and have the desire to help the business succeed. Farming or other outdoor physical work experience, knowledge of plants or the local food system and Spanish/English fluency are all appreciated but not absolutely necessary. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds. Pay commensurate with experience.

The ideal candidate should have the ability to work at an effective pace, accept and integrate instructions and feedback, and take a proactive role in asking for guidance when it comes to farm practices. This is a highly demanding position during peak season and requires speed, focus, physical strength and stamina on long days in any weather conditions.
